I became a Vegetarian in 1996. Strict one (i.e. no fish) - I am doing it for ethical reasons so I don't see why fish should get a worse deal from me.
Actually I am leaning toward veganism: at home I don't get milk, cheese or eggs, either - but they are fine if I am at someone else's place, or eating out.
