"There are at least two kinds of games. One could be called finite, the other infinite.

A finite game is played for the purpose of winning, an infinite game for the purpose
of continuing the play".

Finite and Infinite Games
by James P. Carse

Games are another area of interest. I prefer traditional, tabletop role playing games, which for me provide a interesting mix of narrative and mechanical elements.
Abstract games like Chess, or boardgames in general are distant seconds, and I am not very interested in wargames. Computer games are not a real passion: I may get a bit fixated for a couple of days on some specific time-waster, but these episodes are few and far between.
